In 1900, Raymond and Ellen Mourey were living in Jackson Township in Allen County, Indiana, with three children, Leonard, Amelia and Cecilia. In 1910, Raymond and Ellen were again living in Jackson Township, with six children, Leonard, Amelia, Celia, Paul, Edna and Francis. In 1920, Raymond and Ellen were living in Jackson Township, with three children, Paul, Edna and Francis. In 1930, Raymond and Elen were living in Jackson Township, with one child, Francis. Ellen's obituary reads, "Mrs. Ellen E. Mourey, 80, Werling Road, New Haven, died yesterday at 2:10 p.m. at her home following an illness of seven months. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, New Haven and a member of the Altar Sodality of the church. Survivors include the husband, R. J. Mourey; three daughters, Mrs. Amelia Oberley, and Mrs. Cecelia Oberley, Monroeville, and Mrs. Edna Snyder, Convoy, O.; two sons, Paul A., New Haven, and Frances, Fort Wayne; three brothers, Clement and Clarence Lomont, Fort Wayne, and Justin, Monroeville; two sisters, Mrs. Rosalle Burns, and Mrs. Ida Maire, both of Fort Wayne; 40 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren. The body was taken to the Ternet Funeral Home, New Haven, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday at the funeral home and at 9 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, the Rev. William J. Ehrman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery." Mourey, 84, who died at 2:30 a.m., Thursday at his home, Rt. 2, Werling Road, New Haven, after a one-year illness. He had operated the Indiana Farmers' Mutual Insurance agency in New Haven and was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church there and its Holy Name Society. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Amelia Oberly and Mrs. Cecilia Oberly, both of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Cloyce Snyder, Convoy, O.; two sons, Paul, New Haven, and Frank, Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; and 48 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Ternet Funeral Home in New Haven. The Holy Name Society will meet at 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Services will be held there at 8:45 a.m. Saturday and in the church at 9 a.m., the Rev. W. J. Ehrman officiating. Burial in the church cemetery."
