The marriage records for Cornelia and Oscar are both transcriptions, copied at a much later date from original, local, records, for submission to the state. They disagree on the year in which Cornelia and Oscar married. The record for Oscar, giving the year 1860 has to be correct, since Oscar died in 1862 and could not have married in 1863. As well, he and Cornelia were living in Rutland at the time of the 1860 Census.
