Miller and applied for a license for the marriage of himself, a resident of the Twp of Athens, County of Crawford, State of Penn'a who was 67 years of age on the 4 day of Sept last past [1895], to Miss Ella Winans, a resident of the Twp of Richmond, County of Crawford State of Pa who was 47 years of age on the [blank] day of [blank] last past...
Now this 25 day of July, A.D. 1896, there was received and filed here certificate as follows, to-wit:
"I, W.B. Beam (?) hereby certify, that on the 19 day of July A.D. 1896, at Troy Center, Mr. Orrin W. Miller and Miss Ella Winans were by me united in marriage in accordance with license issued by the clerk of the Orphans' Court of Crawford County, Pennsylvania, numbered 5461."
