PARTY WITH THREE PURPOSES IS HELD
Celebrate Birthday, Betrothal and New Year
A party with a three fold purpose was the one given by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kelch,1765 W, 95th st. last Saturday in the home of Mr. Kelch's mother, Mrs. Minnie Kelch, 6512 Richmond st.
It was the birthday of their daughter, Shirley, whose engagement to Norman Camit. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Camit. 10934 Esmond st., was announced at the party and it was also a New Year's celebration.
As the guests were gathered around the festive board Mr. Camit presented his fiancee with a solitaire diamond ring as a token of their betrothal.
Other relatives who were present were her aunt and uncle, Mrs. and Mrs. John Malone, 6341 Justine st., with their son, Robert, and an uncle.
David Kelch, whom she had not seen in five years came from 1830 N. Karlov ave., to be present on this occasion.
