Norbert and Dolores had five children, two daughters and three sons.

Norbert's obituary reads, "NEW HAVEN. NORBERT J. LOMONT, 82, died Tuesday at Parkview Memorial Hospital. Born in Jefferson Township, he was a lifelong rural New Haven resident. He was a salesman for Bryant Gas and Equipment, Fort Wayne, retiring in 1977. He had also been a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Dolores; two daughters, Diane Bieri of Rio Ranch, N. M., and Denise Mansfield of New Haven; three sons, David of New Haven, Douglas of Monroeville and Davniel of Angola; a sister, Aileen Davis of Muncie; and four grandchildren. Prayer services at 10 a.m. Saturday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 U.S. 30 E., New Haven. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, east of New Haven. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Burial in church cemetery. Memorials to Masses or Sisters of Providence."
