On 16 April 1718, Nathaniel Evens acknowledged receipt for himself and wife, of Samuel Johnson, administrator of estate of Andrew Townsend.

  4. At the time of his marriage, Nathaniel is described as "of Malden". The first four children are recorded in both Malden and Reading. The remainder are only recorded in Reading. One would surmise the first four were actually born in Malden, and then a duplicate record was made in Reading when Nathaniel relocated there.
