Hannah Porter, the daughter of William Porter was probably born in Middletown, Ct...In the West Hartland Congregational Church of Hartland there appear a number of Allen family members. One such entry gives Hannah wife of Nathaniel Allen was admitted to communion 17 Feb. 1782 and she died 1 Aug. 1782...Very possible that they had children which lived in the same vicinity as Thomas Porter, and his brother John Porter....
