Milton's Obituary reads, "Funeral services for Milton C. Watson, 88, retired carpenter who died of senility at 3:50 o'clock Monday morning at his home at 1600 Fletcher avenue, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Chalfant-Perry & Pook's funeral home, Rev. Charles P. Pegram officiating, assisted by Rev. M.E. Ramseyer. Burial will be in New Haven I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may view the body at the funeral home after 2 o'clock this afternoon. Survivors include the widow, Sarah C.; a son, William E. of this city; four daughters, Mrs. J.W. Paylor of Jefferson, O., and Mrs. Ada Hoshaw, Mrs. O.A. Brown and Mrs. Harvey Smith of this city; three sisters, Mrs. A.E. Hall of Elkhart, Mrs. T.L. Apt of Montepelier, O., and Mrs.nelson Curtis of this city; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren." Watson, 85, 1606 Fletcher avenue, died at 12:05 o'clock Thursday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harvey Smith of 1302 Lillie street, following a two-week illness. Born in Seneca county, O., she had resided here the last 34 years. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Ada Hoshaw and Mrs. Ora Brown of Fort Wayne and Mrs. J. W. Paylor of Jefferson, O.; a son, William Watson of this city; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist church. The body was taken to Chalfant-Perry & Pook's funeral home." |
