Nov 23, 1931 - Aug 3, 2011 Milford Compagner, age 79 of Oakland went to be with his Lord Wednesday, August 3, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his son, Rick Compagner in 2002 and daughter-in-law Mary Jo Compagner in 1994.

Mil was a member of Oakland Christian Reformed Church and was employed at Mead Johnson for 35 years. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Clarissa. Children: Tom and Shari Compagner of Oakland Don and Gina Compagner of Diamond Springs Marc and Mary Van Dam of Zeeland Deborah Compagner of Chicago, IL Russell and Nancy Compagner of Diamond Springs

Daughter-in-law, Nancy Compagner of Burnips

12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren

Sister, Marcia and Glenn Boerman of Holland

Sister-in-law, Arlene Dozeman of Zeeland

Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Oakland Christian Reformed Church with the Reverend Ronald De Young officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. Burial will be in Bentheim Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
