  2.   Source:Barry, William. History of Framingham, Massachusetts, p. 253, attributes other children to Matthew and Sarah. There is certainly some room, but as no evidence was found, so they were not added.

    First, he adds an earlier daughter Sarah, b. 20 Jan 1707-8. Neither birth or death record is found for this daughter, and as this date would predate the parents' marriage, it is presumed to be the result of some sort of recordkeeping error by Barry or his source.

    Second, he adds a son Phineas, with no dates, only the comment "d. umn.". He is placed between Sarah and Hezekiah, where there is certainly room for a child, but again, neither birth nor death record is found. Phineas was the name used for a son by Micah, which very well could have been named after a deceased brother, etc., but without at least one record to substantiate the existence of this person, again, we cannot rule out a recordkeeping error by Barry.
