Oswego Palladium-Times, 27 Nov 1936: DURGEE-VAN EPPS Mexico, Nov. 27- A quiet wedding took place Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Edick, Wayne ST, when their granddaughter Miss Alta Mae Van Epps was united in marriage to Marvin Durgee. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Harold Barnard, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church at 2 o'clock in the presence of near relatives and a few friends. A reception was held after and lunch served. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lola Van Epps of Orwell, who with her son, Clifton Van Epps, were the attendants. The bridegroom is the son of Charles Durgee of Orwell and is a mechanic in Miner's garage in Orwell. The couple left Thursday for Miami, Fla. where Mr. Durgee has employment for the winter.
