Oswego Palladium-Times, 30 Oct 1934: LOOKER-- SCOTT Minetto, Oct. 30-- Miss Laura Scott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scott, West 5th ST Road, became the bride of Martin Looker, son of Mrs. Alice Looker of East 4th ST, Fulton, at a ceremony in Southwest Oswego Methodist Church parsonage, with the Rev. W.J. Suits, pastor, officiating Sunday at 2 p.m. Miss Marguerite Looker, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, with Norman Scott, brother of the bride, best man. The bride was attired in blue silk... Miss Looker wore a wine colored ensemble... Following the ceremony a reception was held in the bride's home for the immediate families. The young people are well known in Oswego and Fulton. Mr. Looker is engaged at the Volney paper mill and the bride holds a position in the Victoria Paper Mill, both in Fulton. Oswego Palladium-Times, 16 Oct 1941: MINETTO WOMAN GRANTED DECREE Syracuse, Oct. 16-- Married Oct. 28, 1934 and separated last year, Mrs. Laura Looker, now residing in Minetto, Oswego County, has been granted a decree of divorce from Martin A. Looker by Justice D. Page Morehouse, Jr. who heard testimony last week. The decree gives Mrs. Looker custody of a daughter. The plaintiff said that she is employed and made no request for alimony, stating that she "didn't want a penny of his money," when questioned on that point by the court. Philip Zenner appeared for the plaintiff. References
