Mark B Slocum and his family live at 55 High St. in Fall River. Mark was born Aug 1850 in Massachusetts; his wife Mary E was born Nov 1850 in Massachusetts. Mark's father was born in Rhode Island and his mother in Maine. Mary's father was born in Scotland and her mother was born in Massachusetts. Both are age 49 and have been married 31 years. Mark is a travelling salesman; perhaps for something called Harnestadt? Mary has had 8 children, 6 are still living. Three daughters are living with Mark and Mary.

1) Katherine B, born May 1874 (age 26) in Massachusetts, a school teacher, unemployed 3 months.
2) Adelaide B C, born July 1880 (age 19) in Massachusetts, a sample maker (one word is illegible) and
3) Mary G?, born July 1884 (age 15) in Massachusetts. Mary is not noted as attending school.
