    MELANCON --On Sunday, August 28, 1932, MARCELITE SMITH, wife of the late Marceline Melancon, aged 84 years. Remains were taken from the funeral home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., 4127 S. Claiborne avenue, near Milan, to Opelousas, La., for interment.
