Manfred's obituary reads, "N-LAB CHIEF DEAD AT 66. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Besancon, for Manfred J. Gerardot, 66, who died Tuesday night in Parkview Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for the past three months. Mr. Gerardot was a retired foreman for a nuclear testing plant in Los Alamos, N. M. While at the Scientific Laboratory there, he resided in Sun City, Ariz. Mr. Gerardot was a native of Jefferson Township. Surviving are his wife, Cleo; his mother, Lillian of New Haven; two brothers, Wilbur and George, both of New Haven; and six sisters, Delores Lomont, Eileen Renier, Mary Ottenweller, Juanite Anderson, and Sister Rita Clare, all of New Haven, and Jackie Roehling of Los Alamos, N. M. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
