Malcolm married Josephine M. Minton about 1885. On May 23, 1910 Malcom's family is enumerated in the 1910 US Census of Lafayette County, Florida. Malcolm died in 1920 most likely in Lafayette County. Flora McInnis, daughter of Josephine Minton and Malcom McInnis, was born on February 16, 1889. On May 23, 1910 she was enumerated with her husband in Precict #2, Lafayette County, Florida. Her parents are enumerated just six houses down. Flora died on April 6, 1919 in an automobile accident when she was hit by a train in Suwannee County, Florida. Two of her young children were also killed in the accident. Flora is buried in Wayfare Cemetwery, Mayo, Lafayette County.
