Moore received from him January, 2008: " 'The New York Evening Post' of Tuesday, 4 February 1823, reported the marriage, at Islip, L.I., Thursday evening last (i.e., 30 January 1823), by Rev. Mr. Seabury, of Luther Vandermark of Orange Co., to Margaret Jackson, daughter of James of Islip." His source was Gertrude A.
