Given the similarities in the names Hullner and Hullander and the fact that children born both before and after the 1872 marriage had a mother born in New York (1880 census), it would appear that the Mary Hullner who married Luther Boyd in 1872 was the same person who was living with him in the 1870 census (with children named Hullander).
