- ↑ 3 children were baptized on 13 (11) 1666, Henry, John and Luke, called the sons of Hannah Perkins (i.e., not sons of Luke). One might assume from the listing of Henry first in the baptism record that he is the oldest (there being birth records for the other two, consistent with this idea as far as they go, but no birth is found for Henry). Given the birthdates that are known, this does not work since there is not time between a marriage in 1663 and John's birth in 1664 to fit an earlier child. Possibly he is not Henry Perkins, but the son Henry Cookery that Hannah is had by her first husband in 1658 according to Source:Wyman, Thomas Bellows. Genealogies and Estates of Charlestown, Massachusetts, 1629-1818, p. 237. There is no sign of an earlier baptism for Henry Cookery. At the time of his probate in 1712, no other son of Luke Perkins besides Luke was living or represented by heirs. There is no death record for Henry Perkins, but Henry Cookery d. 23 NOv 1704 per Charlestown VRs, p. 202.
