Based upon marriage records, Maryann and Margaret had different mothers, Margaret Genoe and Auguste Genoe respectively. The marriage registration of their oldest sister, Emilie is no help because he mother's surname is illegible, but her given name is Agusta. Therefore, Ludwick may not have had two wives, and Maryann's mother may have been the same as her siblings' mother.
