Louis and Reina had six children, two sons and four daughters.
Louis' obituary reads, "LOUIS H. GLADIEUX, JR., 69, died Wednesday at home. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, he was a self-employed farmer, and worked in retail sales and the food industry. He retired in 1984. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Surviving are his wife, Reina; two sons, Louis H. III and Jason E., both of Fort Wayne; four daughters, Virginia Hockman, Maureen Gladieux and Margaret Tippmann, all of Fort Wayne, and Sandra Richardson of Roswell, N.M.; a brother, Ivan, of Austin, Texas; a sister, Doris Schultz of Fort Wayne; and 15 grandchildren. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 8669 Auburn Road. Calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun St. Wake at 7:30 p.m. Calling also an hour before services at the church. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Masses; gifts to church."
