Leslie and Laura had nine children, six sons and four daughters.

In 1949, they lived at 1214 Oak Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Leslie retired from the General Electric Company in 1957.

LESLIE G. TERNET. Leslie G. Ternet, 90, died at 2:40 a.m. Friday in Byron Health Center. An Allen County native, Mr. Ternet retired in 1956 from General Electric Co. after 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Laura P.; five sons, Wayne C. and William J., both of Fort Wayne, Donald L., of Colorado Springs, Colo., Richard A., of Burbank, Calif., and James A. of Renton, Wash.; a daughter, Joan M. Ashe, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Velma Marquette, of Fort Wayne; and 23 grandchildren. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. LAURA P. TERNET, 91, died at 7:20 a.m. Friday at Parnell Park Nursing Home. Mrs. Ternet was a lifelong Fort Wayne resident. Her husband, Leslie, died in July, 1984. Surviving are four sons, Wayne C. and William J., both of Fort Wayne, Donald L., of Colorado Springs, Colo., and James A., of Renton, Wash.; one daughter, Joan M. Ashe, of Fort Wayne; and 23 grandchildren. Services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun St., and at 11 a.m. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd. Calling from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
