Binghamton Press, 7 Oct 1944: ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED Mr. and Mrs. William D. Mee of Windsor announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Honora, to Private Lawrence E. Hall, U. S. Army, son of Mrs. Eva Furney of Williamstown. Private Hall recently returned to this country after serving for 19 months in the European theatre. The wedding is being planned for early in November. Pulaski Democrat, 30 Nov 1944: RICARD-- Miss Kathleen Hanora Mee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William D. Mee of Windsor, and Pvt . Lawrence Hall, son of the late August Hall and Mrs. Eva Hall Furney of Williamstown, were united in marriage at a double ring ceremony performed Saturday, Nov. 11... in St. Mary's church, Kirkwood. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She was attired in a white taffeta princess gown... The maid of honor, Cadet Nurse Rita E. Mee, was the bride's only attendant. She wore a pink princess-styled gown... Pvt. William M. Mee, brother of the bride, was best man for the bridegroom. A wedding breakfast and reception followed with 100 guests attending. Mrs. Hall is a graduate of Windsor Central school class of '41. Pvt. Hall is a graduate of Altmar High school '39 and of Morrisville '41. They are residing at Riverhead, Long Island References
