[Also, same page: Josiah Gale and Mehitable Wetherell both of Warwick intend Marriage January 13th 1799. The date of marriage appears to say 1798 as do all this group of marriages, but based on intentions is clearly 1799, and also suggested by the context of the preamble.]

Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,, p. 111, 287, identifies the husband as the father instead of the son despite the fact that she says in both places the father d. 1794. The son's wife died in 1798 while his mother lived until 1802. Clearly Allred was wrong about who was involved in this marriage.
