This couple of paragraphs, apparently copied from Putnam's Monthly Historical Magazine, identify the wife of Joshua Andrus/Andrews, originally identified as Sybil Stoddard (married May 1731), as Sybil Hurlbut.

Jacobus clearly accepts the identity of Joshua's wife as Sybil Hurlbut (but does not indicate a marriage date).

'Next to [Joseph Hurlbut] in the Newington graveyard is buried: "Mrs. Sibbell wife of Dea[co]n Joshua Andrus who died May [th]e 30 AD: 1785, in [th]e 80th Year of her Age. N.B. the above named (when More than 40 Years old) was Delivered of 8 Children at 3 Births, 7 of them Born Alive within the Space of 2 Years & 5 Months," '

Her age at the multiple births is slightly exaggerated, but she would have been at least 36 at the birth of the first set of triplets.
