    According to Stackpole, Swett Genealogy Joseph Swett “married, Oct. 1651, as church
    record says, Elizabeth Taylor.” The record actually appears in the original vital records for Newbury, though crossed out: “Joseph Swett & Elizabeth Taylor was marryed Octob: [blank] 1651.”
