  3.   An issue of Source:Branches and twigs (Genealogical Society of Vermont, Putney, Vermont), Volumes 9-12, p. 108, asserts without proof that Joseph Sibley's wife is Elizabeth, b. 1682. According to VR Reading, this would be the daugher of John. However, there is also an Elizabeth, b. 1687, d/o James, that would be of an appropriate age to marry in 1707/8. Three Elizabeth Boutell's married in Reading between 1713-1716. If one assumes that the oldest Elizabeth married first (a poor assumption), one might go along with the pairing in Branches and Twigs, but more research is needed. This issue is complicated by the many different spelling of Boutell.
