Joseph and Toni had six children, three sons and three daughters.

Joseph's obituary reads, "NEW HAVEN. JOSEPH A. LOMONT, 86, died Friday at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in rural New Haven, he was a lifelong resident. He was a grain farmer, retiring in 1975. He was a former board member of the E&M Grain Elevator. Surviving are his wife, Virginia "Toni"; three sons, Donald of Seal Beach, Calif., Ronald of New Haven and Thomas of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Phyllis Love of Crown Points, and Mary Lou Till and Mary K. Graf, both of Indianapolis; six sisters, Ursula Sockrider and Mary Brinker, both of Fort Wayne, Edna Reuille and Monica Knecht, both of Monroeville, Catherine Ristau of Genesco, Ill., and Carolyn Hill of Milton, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Prayer services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 U. S. 30 E., New Haven. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, with a rosary service at 8:30 p.m. Burial in church cemetery. Toni's obituary reads, "VIRGINIA C. "TONI" LOMONT, 85, of New Haven, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, at the Village of Heritage, Monroeville. The Fort Wayne native was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church, New Haven. She was actively involved for many years, with her husband Joseph in the operation of the family farm. She enjoyed volunteering at the St. Louis Academy and coaching area softball and volleyball teams. Surviving are her children, Thomas and his wife, Vicky of Fort Wayne, Ronald and his wife, Linda of New Haven, and Donald and his wife, Jeanne of Seal Beach, Calif.; Mary Lou Till and her partner, Denise Waldrich of Manchester, N. H. and Phyllis Love of Little Rock, Ark.; special family friend, Mary K. Graf of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Lomont, in 1995; two sisters; and six brothers. Prayer service is 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral home, 740 Indiana Hwy. 930 E., New Haven, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy. E., New Haven. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a Vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Burial at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. They are both buried in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana.
