My parents were married in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, not long after their arrival in the United States (the second time for my mother). It was a Tuesday. Adam Rosinger and his wife are listed as two of the witnesses -- Adam is recorded as Adam Rózsa in the family tree and he is my father's first cousin on his mother's side. Adam and his wife eventually returned to Semlak. Apparently their son, Adam, did as well; their son Sandor, however, is listed as being in New York.
The church, according to Evanne Weirich's mother, was established by immigrants from Semlak and Liebling. The Pastor, Reverend Lisse, and his wife were from Liebling. The church is still in operation and Evanne's mother is still a congregant there. The address is Zion Lutheran Church, 15 South 4th Street (and Blackberry Streets), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17101 (717) 234-4064. It was originally called the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
