"In summary, Joseph Hills married first, by about 1676, a daughter of his Wethersfield/Glastonbury neighbors, John and Dorothy Edwards, who died sometime before his second marriage, about 1699. That daughter was Hannah Edwards, the young woman said to be impotent when her father's estate was settled in 1664, but known to be living and still single in September 1667."
