JONATHAN HAYES. Also known as JONATHAN HAYS. He was born on 15 Jun 1722 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He married MARY LOOMIS, daughter of PHILIP LOOMIS and HANNAH (___), at Simsbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut, on 8 May 1743. He was named in his father's will dated on 31 Oct 1765. There may be additional children of Jonathan Hays and Mary Loomis. "George Hayes of Windsor and His Descendants" lists only the oldest four (Jonathan, Mary, Philip and Moses). Sarah was found in the Westfield, Mass. VRs as daughter of Jonathan Hays & Mary (there is no other Jonathan Hays living in the Westfield, Mass. - Simsbury, Ct. area at this time). There is a nine year gap between Moses (1750) and Sarah (1759). Although she would have been in her early 40s, Mary Loomis may have had other children.
