Note that late 1746 was a bad time for this Family, two children died in October and the mother and another child died the next month. Perhaps disease, or Indian attacks?

    He was dismissed to the Church in Harvard, "where he now dwells," the Church records say, June 7, 1747, having removed thither in 1745.

    On going to Harvard he bought a farm of sixty-five acres, on the north side of "Pine Hill Brook," from Joseph Darby, paying therefor £410.

    Although they lived in Boxford for a score of years, no births of children are recorded there. The baptisms of their first children down to 1736, are to be found in the Bradford Church records.
