    'Lieut Jonathan Boreman ([son of] Samuel), born in Wethersfield, Feb. 4, 1660, married Oct. 22, 1685, Mercy Hubbert, daughter of John Hubbert (Hubbard) of Hatfield, born in Hadley, Mass., Feb. 23, 1664. ... Lieut. Jonathan died Sept. 21, 1712 [there is footnote about the "raging of a mortal sickness in the Colony of Conn.", which killed "men of some station and figure" and "many young and strong and hearty men"], in his 52d year.'
