His second wife was Rebecca Smith, who was baptized 28 February 1642/3, at Dorchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary Smith. On 7 July 1675, Mary Smith deeded certain land in Dorchester to, "John Nash of Boston, Cooper, who married Rebecca Smith, one of the daughters of said Lawrence Smith and myself."
