1850 census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman (1979) John (1799-1879) was the son of Henry and Letticia (Richardson) Edwards and is often confused with his uncle who was only eight years older than he. John married in 1820 Edith Worrell, the daughter of Amos and Ellen (Roberts) Worrell. They seem to have had seven children. Edith died in 1859 and John remarried Sarah Newman in 1864. They leved on Little Reed, west of Hillsville.
