The author found a deed dated "Westminster, 4 December, 7 Edward II" [4 Dec 1313] between John St Amand and Sir Hugh Despenser, that John will marry Margaret, Hugh's daughter, and Hugh will pay John 1000 marks and John will enfeoff Margaret of a certain amount of land before midsummer.
