Marriage Date with Susannah Parker

There is obviously a dispute as to the marriage date of John Daugherty and Susannah Parker. U.S. and International Marriage Records cite the year of the marriage as in 1782 (which would still be 4 years after their eldest daughter Mary Ann), but "Kentucky Marriages 1802-1850" have their marriage date as 28 February 1808 in nearby Hopkins County, Kentucky, which would eliminate Susannah Parker as the mother of John Daugherty's children. Additional research is needed.
