BURGESS - SHAW WEDDING.

At St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, Mr. John Burgess, eldest son of the late Mr. Robert Burgess, was married to Miss Annie Shaw, youngest daughter of Mr. George Shaw of Annie street, Linwood. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a cream mervelleux silk dress with chiffon and guipure trimmings, and carried a shower bouquet, which, with a gold muff chain, were presents from the bridegroom. The bridesmaid, Miss L. Burgess, sister of the bride, wore a tucked white muslin dress, with silk ribbons, and a picture hat, Misses Maggie Robson. and Gladys May Shaw, nieces of the bride. were the train bearers, and wore cream cashmere dresses. Mr. O. Young was the best man. The wedding breakfast was held at the residence of the bride's parents. Many presents were received.
