Bath County Clerks Office, Sct:

 I R. H. Conner Clerk of the county aforesaid, do certify that John B. 

Oakley hath enetered into bond and security to procure licence to intermarry with Sarah Warner of this county, consent being legally had.

 This shall, therefore, authorize you to join in Matrimony the said John B. 

Oakly and Sarah Warner and this shall warrent you for doing so.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand, as clerk aforesaid, this 6th day of March 1854

Bath County to-witt:

 It is hereby certified, that under and by virtue of the within licence, I 

did, on the 22nd day of December 1853, at the house of Mary Warner in said county, celebrate the rites of matrimony between the within named Jno. Black and Elizabeth Warner and that Newton Duddith, Andrew Warner and Mary Warner were present and witnessed the celebration.

Given under my hand this 22 day of December 1853 Minister of the Methodist Church
