↑ The basis for the estimated marriage date of 1687 appears to be Source:Vital records of Weymouth, Massachusetts, to the year 1850, p. 1:43: "Bicknell, John, s. John and Sarah, [born] Nov. 24, 1688". But an unnamed son born to John Bicknell three years after his father died is presumed to belong to him. This could be an unknown first wife, or it could be that John and Sarah married early enough.
