Johannes and Catherine bought 30 acres of land in Montgomery County, Ohio, on July 13, 1809. Johannes had jointly owned land with Daniel David Heck (or perhaps called only David Heck), perhaps his brother, in Virginia -- this land was sold on April 1, 1805.
