Family:Johann Haupert and Unknown (2)

"White Creek" is attempting to trace the Haupert Family (and many other Palatines) to Tuscarawas County, Ohio. My data is linked to the widow of Jakob Haupert (1773-1827) who was born and died in Oberreidenbach, in the Rhein-Pfalz. The widow (Mary Ann Keller) migrated to southern Tuscarawas County, with her 5 children. The two sons (Peter Jacob & Fredrick A.) migrated on to Wabash County, Indiana. This compiler believes that Mary Ann (Keller) Haupert migrated with others from her village. There are Keller's listed in local records. Mary Ann settled in the Port Washington, Ohio area.

In the Kirchenbuch of St. Paul's Church of Port Washington, some of Mary Ann (Keller) Haupert's data can be found. Also in the same book, is the mention of "Joh. Fr. Pet., son of G. Math. Haupert and Margr. Pees from OBERREIDENBACH, Rhein-Prussia". Another indicator that the family migrated with other relatives.
