link42 Lieut. Job4 Kidder ( Joseph3, John2, James1), born at Sutton, Worcester, Mass., 14 July 1725; died at Goffstown, Hillsborough Co., N. H., 23 Oct. 1823, "aet. 98y 3mo." He married Molly. Lieut. Job Kidder moved from Sutton, Mass. while a young man, probably settling first at Londonderry, later removing to Goffstown, N. H., where about 1752, "Job Kidder of Londonderry" appears as one of the original grantees of the town. He was a farmer, and was spoken of as a man of steady and active habits, quite athletic, retaining a high degree of energy until past his ninetieth year. He is referred to in the town records as "Lieutenant," but no military service applying to him has been established.

i. Elijah, b. at Goffstown about 1762; died there in 1810. He married at Goffstown, 27 Nov. 1783, Mary Sargent, born there 8 Mar, 1764; died at Grantham, Sullivan Co., N. H., 30 Mar. 1849, daughter of Trueworthy and Hopestill (Weed) Sargent. Elijah Kidder was a private in Capt. James Aikin's Company of Col. Moses Kelly's Regiment of New Hampshire Volunteers. His name appears on the Goffstown bounty list.

iii. Job, b. at Goffstown, 1 Jan. 1766. died there 4 Oct. 1838. He married at Goffstown, 29 Dec. 1791, Eunice Lyon5 Kidder (Noah4, Joseph3, John2, James1), born at Vassalboro, Me., 8 Oct. 1770; died in Mar. 1859, aged 89, daughter of Noah and Eunice (Lyon) Kidder, No. 44 of Vassalboro.
iv. Benjamin, b. at Goffstown about 1768. He married at Goffstown, 12 Jan. 1792, Lois Margrage; her second marriage.
V. Molly, m. Joseph Martin, b. at Goffstown, 20 Jan. 1770, son of Joshua and Mary Martin. Children (surname Martin): 1. Caleb. 2. Samuel. 3. Lucy. 4. Mary. 5. Letilia.
