    I do hereby certify that on the second day of July at Rogers in the State of Michigan, I did join together in Holy Wedlock, Jesse Fox of Rogers, Tuscola County, age 24 years and Lucinda Shultz of Rogers aforesaid aged 20 years in the presence of two witnesses to wit, D.M. Black and Hannah Shultz of Rogers aforesaid.
    In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this third day of July AD 1856
