* There is no record of the birth of Jabez and in the same year a baptism of Dorothy.
* This is a birth of Lucy and baptism of Levi in the same year.
It is possible the Jesse Bush of the church wasn't the same as the Jesse Bush of the town records? No such other person is found in the History of Marlborough. It is possible, even probable, that Lucy and Levy are misreadings of the same name?
An old record (before publication of the VRs) is found online. It appears original as the writing of the entries differ, though it is hard to tell. It has been followed to resolve the various issues noted, favoring Jabez over Dorothy, Lucy over Levi. It appears this is what the History of Marlborough did.
