  4. In Families of Ancient New Haven (4:855), Donald Lines Jacobus says that the wife of Jeremiah How was Elizabeth, probably daughter of Paul and Martha Peck of Hartford. In Hale, House and Related Families (260), published some 25 years later, he gives the husband of Elizabeth Peck (daughter of Deacon Paul of Hartford) as this same Jeremiah How, without further comment.
