    On the petition of James Calvin McNeice, father and natural tutor of the minor children of Louisa Elizabeth McNeice, deceased, to have . . . community property adjudicated to him, and considering the recommendations of the family meeting held in behalf of the minors of said decedent, Ada, Vilona, Cordelia, Jessie, Cora and Arthur McNeice issue of the marriage of petitioner with the said decedent . . . and the order homologating the deliberations of said family meeting, it is ordered . . . that the following described property held by sd petitioner James Calvin McNeice, in community with his minor children, be . . . adjudicated to him . . . first, 88.01 acres described as being the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 and NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4, Sec 22, T2S R12E St Helena Meridian, containing 156.13 acres, less 68.12 acres; second one gray mare, third one iron gray colt, fourt one cow and calf and two yearlings; agggregating to the sum of $1249.12, and the 3/10 interest of said minors in the above described property is hereby adjudicated to the petitioner for the amount of $374.74.

    29 July 1902; The petition of J.C. McNeice, a resident of the Parish of Washington, State of Louisiana, shows with respect: That his wife Louisa Elizebith McNeice departed this life intestate, in the Parish and State aforesaid on the 18th day of August 1900, and left surviving her the following minor children to wit: 1st Ida O. McNeice, aged 16 years, 2nd Louisa McNeice, aged 15 years, 3d Ada McNeice, aged 12 years, 4th Vilona McNeice, aged 10 years, 5th Cordelia McNeice, aged 8 years, 6th Jennie McNiece aged 6 years, 7th Cora McNeice, aged 4 years, 8th Auther McNeice, aged 2 years, all of whom are minors, and Henry W. McNeice, and Mary E. McNeice, wife of Denis Knight, majors, all of whom are residents of the Parish of Washington, State of Louisiana, that at the time of the death of the wife of petitioner Louisa Elizebith McNeice they were the owners of one hundred and fifty acres of land and some personal property all in the Parish of Washington, that there are certain debts due by the community that existed between petitioner and his deceased wife and petitioner desires to be appointed as natural tutor of said above named minors and after he has qualified as such he desires that he be permited to sell according to law all the property belonging to the said community existing between him and his deceased wife.     [no date] March 1922, Mrs. Easter (x) McNeese wife of J.C. McNeese (she being the widow of the second marriage of the said J. C. McNeese, deceased), H. W. McNeese (married to Lizzie Noble), Mollie McNeese Knight (wife of I.D. Knight), Louisa McNeese Nobel (wife of Silas Nobel), Delia McNeese Lang (wife of Iva O. Lang), Lonnie McNeese McKenzie (wife of Eugene McKenzie), Jessie McNeese (husband of Jennie Sumerall), Ada McNeese Rester (wife of John Rester), Cora McNeese Smith (wife of Wes Smith), Arthur McNeese (single), all of Washington Parish, and Ida McNeese Duncan (wife of A.P. Duncan), of Walthall County, Mississippi, to S. L. Noble (married to Louisa McNeese) of Washington Parish, for $700, sold their interest to the SE quarter of the NW quarter of Section 22, T2S R12E, except 10 acres out of sd forty not owned by H. W. McNeese
