Can any of you Huston people help find my ancestor James HUSTON who lived in Augusta Co., Va. approximately 1750-1820. James and wife Nancy supposedly had 7 HUSTON daughters. If you can provide info. on any of these 7 daughters would be appreciated:1. Elizabeth HUSTON married Matthew KENNEY; 2. Euphemia HUSTON married Daniel MCDOWELL; Nancy HUSTON married Joseph MCDOWELL; Patience HUSTON married James KERR; Polly HUSTON married William MCCREERY; Sarah HUSTON married Robert BOGGS; Phebe HUSTON married Robert KENNEY. Bill, Did your James have a brother named Anthony? I have an Anthony Houston 1757 - 1831 who lived in Augusta Co. VA and migrated to KY. near Georgetown. The interesting part is that he also had children named Elizabeth, James, John Kenney, William, Sarah, Mary & Phebe.

Rudolph John Julius de Roode (b. 1835) m. 1855 Jane Kerr (1833-96). 3. John Kerr (1790-1855) m. 1826 Rachel Fry (1809-71). 4. James Kerr (1763-1833) m. 1802 Patience Huston. 5. James Huston m. 1749 Nancy McCreary (1728-1812). James Huston (1724-1818) was a patriot who furnished provisions for the Virginia militia. He was born in Baltimore, Md.; died in Fayette County, Ky.
