James' obituary reads, "JAMES D. BENJAMIN - Services for James Delbert Benjamin, 66 of 5828 Bunt Drive will be at 2 p.m Saturday in Klaehn's South Anthony Chapel. He died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Josephs Hospital. Mr. Benjamin, who retired from General Electric Co. in 1974 after 30 years of service, is survived by his wife, Delight; two sons...and three sisters... Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery." [Journal Gazette, Friday May 26, 1978, pg. 16a]
