Family:Jacob van der Crul and Anna van Barnhoorn (1)

Jacob and Annitgen were first married NDG (Reformed). Geertje was born 5 months later. Maybe Annitgen was from a Catholic family. Maybe the NDG minister had a problem baptising the child. Anyway Geertje was baptised Roman Catholic on 7 Oct 1656. It looks like the Catholic priest wanted the husband re-baptised and the couple re-married after that, hence the second marriage in a church. All other children were also baptised Roman Catholic. The next one was Lijsbeth, between 19 and 26 Dec 1657. This one was notable because the witness (suscept) was Joris Theuniszn, giving evidence that Annitgen had a brother Joris.
